I was born in 1986 in Istanbul. I went to American Robert College. I studied Architecture in Istanbul Technical University.
In 2008 August, I began working in Emre Arolat Architects. Meanwhile, in December, I began designing canvas bags and named it BEZTORBAM with my sis Ebru. I decided to study her Masters Degree in Istanbul Bilgi University Achitectural design programme with a 100% scholarship. since I have been so into Fashion&Design, she took some Fashion&Design lessons at Istanbul Moda Academy in 2010. In March 2010, I participated the Smart Geometry 2010 Workshop and Seminars and represented Turkey in this international platform of parametric design. In September 2010, I represented the project that was done in "Digital Representation Techniques" class with Onur Yüce Gün and Ebru Arkut Ulu at the eCAADe (Education and research in Computer Aided Architectural Design in Europe) Conferance in Zurich. After doing these, I went to professional life.
Since August 2010, I have been working at Metex Design Group in architectural and interior design projects. (metexdesign.com)
Along with all these, in February 2012, I and my friend İpek Bankeroğlu began to establish our own design studio, Designroom. We call it "a room where we can do the things we would like to." Since January 2013, I keep it going alone.(designroomgroup.net/)
I am interested in different types of design and believe that the different idea and aesthetics are very important. Fashion, art, photography, cinema, dance, different cultures, travel, shopping, good food, art-architecture magazines, parametric design, personal development are some of my interests.
I believe that when design is made with love and fun, better results come out. I try to provide myself a working environment in which I can use all of my talents and produce beautiful things with pleasure.
Also I am blogging at girlielittlethings.blogspot.com/.
You are always welcome to enjoy life with me. ;)
