Basically, we don't appear on the new tab with the karma filter on because of our karmic average (the number on the right; the number on the left is our total hypes). We only appear to people who have their karma filter set to off. Once we get our average to five (which, remember, the average will change with every new look), we're considered to have good karma, and we aren't filtered. :]
