The dead animal around your neck is disgusting, tacky and cruel. I'm baffled as to why you think it's appropriate to wear a carcass just because you think it makes you look better. Consider this the online equivalent of throwing red paint. You have blood on your hands.
Stella Rose .
Um, news flash lady. I've followed a strict vegan diet for over 8 years first and foremost because I am against factory farming, (and secondly because tofu is yummy). I don't buy leather or fur new not only because it's wrong to kill animals for any reason, but because I am aware of how corrupt industry is. Many times, cheap fur and leather products are actually made from other animals-sometimes common house cats and dogs. Peta did an investigation on it as well as the BBC. Remember when fur trimmed hoodies from Sean John ended up being trimmed with cheap dog fur? Fucking scary. Or how about the fact that many animals are skinned nearly alive? Ever watch that video of the fully skinned raccoon still able to lift its head on the dead pile? It still makes me sick.
So why am I wearing it? The stole was a give to mother by her neighbor in the 1950s. It's very old. The hat came from my friend Sacha, it's vintage as well.
I choose to wear second had leathers and sometimes furs (you are looking at my full fur collection right now) because they aren't going anywhere. It's tragic that animals had to die for these purposes but we can at least take proper care of the remains. Keeping the furs beautiful is much more respectful to them than dousing them in paint and throwing them out. But that's just my opinion.
I understand your point and I agree to some extent but as a vegan myself I've learned to not get in peoples faces about my beliefs because it fails at getting the point across. Angering people is not the way to go. I support taking a more positive approach to fighting animal cruelty.

I love not only your outfit, but your attitude, I love what you said about being in peoples faces about beliefs. Plus if you got rid of them, what would be the point the animal died and not all fur comes from live animals. A lot is bi product, so power to you ! Plus how dare anyone tell you what to wear or that you are cruel, they don't know you. I have vegan and non vegan friends neither are cruel to animals, just because you eat or don't eat meat has very little to how you treat things (animal, people). I think it's cruel of someone to write 'you have blood on your hands' on something as lookbook !
If this was true we would all have blood on our hand's, you never know everything about this world. what about earth, veg grows in it, I'm sure it has dead bugs, animals and even people dust and ashes in it somewhere. I'm so glad you posted this and that you are vegan, and not stamping your beliefs onto ours. Love the way you dress and would love to know if you have a blog? xxx
Stella Rose .
Aw, thanks lady! Yeah, its pretty funny that out of all the fur wearers on Lookbook that girl chose the vegan.

Not only do I love your amazing style, you said about vintage fur made me applaud. So hyped and fanned for your fashion, loved for your attitude.
I've been a vegetarian for 7 years and vegan for about 5 months now, and people always just haaaaave to comment about my fur hat (which my grandfather bought in the mid 70's and I inherited 10 years ago)
If I get comments about it here in the furture I'll reference to you, because as you may notice my english skills are not very good. At all.
Stella Rose .
Your english seems great to me! I agree that it's silly for people to comment on your personal vegan journey. Especially the ones who aren't even vegan! The commenter above is so ridiculous. I don't know why people think that bullying is a good way to get people on their side. Too bad for her she picked on a fellow vegan!
Good luck on your vegan journey! <3
