Wearing the headdress is disrespectful and offensive to First Nations culture. Why are you wearing it? Is it cool? Did you research it? Do you know what it stands for?

What a joke.

Why have so many people begun leaving negative comments on looks?

I love this look, I think you're gorgeous, and I think you should be able to wear what you wanna wear. Especially if it's a headdress and even more especially if it's lingerie as outerwear. :D

Behind black double doors your lungs fill with smoke. It's no wonder why you want to hide under the darkness of the night's cloak. Playing dress up with feathers in your hair. Burning little amber fires one breath at a time in your little lair. Your body looks so soft it melts a line in the hard wood floor of your grainy underexposed pictures. And to me it just feels sad your a front of smoke and mirrors.

this picture is offensive to my culture in a multitude of ways. i hope you find time to research the contemporary issues of native americans so that you can understand just how hurtful this kind of appropriation of our culture is.

I do not understand why you think cultural appropriation of an oppressed race is fashionable.

I can't understand why you think it's okay to appropriate cultures and why people defend you being called out. This is disrespectful and harmful, and the look sexualizes Native women who are raped at the highest of rates. Please do some research and listen to those who are telling you that you are wrong. So many wouldn't point it out if it was untrue. My people are not costumes and our cultures are not props for your taking.
