I designed and constructed the skirt. It's completely lined and full of tulle. Basically, it was a bitch to sew, and I pretty much had to teach myself along the way because I had never made anything like it before. I like it because it's classy, but also young, fun, and original. I paired it with a vintage corset because you have to balance out everything going on with the skirt with something more basic up top. I also collect corsets and wear them out because they are just so damn sexy! I don't have huge boobs, so it doesn't look as scandalous on me. There's just something about a bare back and exposed shoulders...and then I topped it off with a flower which gave it a little more color, but also tied everything in with the metallic sheen. Plus I feel naked without something on my head. Oh, and my shoes which are not visible are cream vintage Ferragamos with little gold bows on them. Not too high of course, as to balance out the shortness of the skirt. :)
