The #1 source for fashion inspiration from real people around the world.
This is what I wore to an interview for an upcoming fashion magazine reality show. I made it to the top 30 out of the country, and they flew me to LA for a week, but I didn't make it to the final 15 or whatever. Probably because they realized I would have stuck out like a sore thumb, haha. If you happen to catch the show which comes out in the fall, you'll probably realize why I didn't quite make it.
But anyway, the pink jumper looking thing is actually a vintage bathing suit (which are not made out of spandex). The boots I inherited from my mother, and are falling apart. I need to get them re-soled. The hat has a big pink bow on the back, but I turned it around and made it be on the front because I'm rebellious like that. The necklace is a beautiful vintage cameo that's gold with reddish hues. The glasses are black, plastic "Blues Brothers" knock-offs that I popped the lenses out of for my Austin Powers costume the previous Halloween. And sometimes I just wear them around normally if I get bored. I wore them on the plane to LA, and some girl next to me kept staring and then finally leaned over to her brother and whispered, "Her glasses have no lenses." To which he replied, "Welcome to LA." Which is funny because I was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL. I live for that kind of shit. I love incorporating humor into my outfits.
