Sometimes we may act distant and we try to act like we don't care. We put up walls because we're afraid of taking a risk and & putting ourselves out there. Deep down we all just want that feeling of being in love and being loved.
I picked this mix because it's about being helplessly in love, how sometimes we're afraid to admit it or afraid of getting hurt, & how sometimes we need to forget about the past and the pain & just put it all out on the line. Sometimes we may be saying, "I kind of like you" or "I think I'm a little bit in love with you, but only if you're a little bit in love with me." When in all honesty, we really mean, "I'm so black and blue for you." (I fell for you & I love you.)
The dark color scheme of this outfit & the cutout tights represent the part of us that tries to hide our feelings under this wall we put up. The lace tights & big, lace, comfy sweater represent the softer, loving side of us. & in a way, the big, bold platforms represent how sometimes we need to take risks and put our true feelings on display to ever truly be happy.
[I kind of rambled on & on, but that's the best way I can put it into words.]
