I’m in love with this sweater. I bought it as a present for my mama. Then she lost a bunch of weight and gave it back to me. I’ll admit that I had been coveting it. That’s probably why I bought it for her in the first place—I wanted it! It is beyond soft and perfectly oversized.
Obviously, the trousers beg to be discussed. High-waisted pants? On a plus-size woman who is really in between an apple, pear and hourglass? With pleats? I’ll admit that I wore my knockoff Spanx with these, and that I always do. A little smoothing never hurts! And the cute little sash-belt I feel does the job creating a waist where a roll might have been. I think that no matter your shape, a high waist can work. It takes some working, I mean some workin’, but its about taking a simple khaki trouser and turning it into a real centerpiece. The cornerstone of your wardrobe can be transformed into a statement and still fill the place of a dependable go-to. Its your attitude toward the piece that makes it comfortable for you.
Last note on wardrobe: I love the little sockies peeking out of Beatle boots. Sneaky!
