If you have the patience, eBay can yield you some amazing finds, such as this PVC dress that I scored a couple years ago. Most dresses made of this material tend to be body-conscious (which I love and will be wearing for NYE, more on that later though) but this one has a boatneck collar and a more 50s silhouette with a full skirt that allows me to play with the length and drape. Originally, the skirt portion is tea length but I pinned up the front (rather roughly) so that it'd be shorter and I let the back do whatever it wanted to do as a result. This blazer is one of my favorites in my wardrobe. It used to be my mom's way back in the day and I came across it, promptly took it and now my life is better. I love pairing this dress with this blazer because it seems to balance out pretty well. Not sure if the dress is softened because of the blazer or vice versa but either way, it makes me happy.
