The Black and White Bug
I love the detailing of this jacket. Believe it or not this jacket is a deconstruction of a bag Paul Herrera designed. Originally it was designed to be a convertible piece but later on the jacket was reduced to a jacket without the frills and folds.
Though insects werent really the inspiration to Paul when he designed this jacket, I wanted the styling to do that (like the photo above of the Black and White Bug) . I used clash of prints against the black and white stripes. I wore this graffiti print shirt(an old design by my sister back in her retail days) paired with a stripey cardi which coincidentally is her design as well.
Adding a dandy subtext, I added a bowler hat, mid tint sunnies, and a braided silver necklace.
