I had the pleasure of sporting this jacket when Yvan of Facehunter shot me for his site:
Check it out:)
On a different occasion I wore this jacket recontextualized, imbuing the look with a mythical story.
Like heroes and gods of myths, armor is often worn as a means of protection and a powerful symbol of one's own status as a hero/god. This jacket by Enrico Carado just does that for me. What I like about this second rendition (the first one I posted few looks back)from his menswear collection is that it doesnt look like an armor of a typical hero. There's a sinister look to the scales and the tie dyed red stains which reminds you of an angry red dragon.
To push this hero/god look I wore gold pieces like the choker with locks and rows and rows of bangles in gold and antique brass. Hi Wonder Woman.... ehem.
I wanted tie dye blue jeans to go with the red jacket so it would visually go against each other.
