my grandma is a pack rat and saves everything. every couple weeks i visit her and she makes me sort through bags of clothes she rounded up (she has four daughters). most times i find the burried treasures on my own.

recently she gave me two big bags from my great grandpa. one filled with his old work (farmer) levis and the other his western/plaid shirts. JACKPOT!

nuff story line..im wearing my grandpas undershirt (including the au natural holes-worn from age) and a pair of vintage levis i made into short that were my great-grandpas.

"Your grandfather would be so proud," says my grandma when I told her where I got the shorts I was wearing.

side note: i love wearing worn in clothes from family members. like stuff my mom wore when she was my age. it always just feels more homey and comfy. plus if it comes with a great story than its better than any purchase made at the mall. what do you think?
