'guess' isn't as funky in style as h&m or zara, but the actual quality is just far and above those two. then again, it's a lot more expensive.

while i do like h&m and zara, in many cases, you get what you pay for (though i will say my zara clothes have held up extremely well). i can't do it as often, unfortunately, but i do like buying quality garments, despite their being more expensive. those are the ones that become wardrobe staples. i'm going to have to look into guess for future purchases for sure.

i got skinny black pants at zara, and the pockets on my ass were soon coming apart at the seams. it looked horrible. thank god i only wore them to work.
but yea, i also like getting basics at h&m or zara, just blank v-necks or something. but staples, i definitely prefer higher quality stuff.

funnily, the one problem i've had with clothes from zara was with a pair of skinny black pants--only my problem was the seam on the inside leg kept coming apart. the shirts i've bought from there have done well except for having to sew most of the buttons back on. but i agree: for staples, the higher quality stuff is the way to go.
