The irony of life is that when you are young, you want to be all grown up. Then when you are all grown up, you just want to be young again. I always tell my friends who are still studying in high school or in college to never rush things. Why? Because when you are working already, everything is too real. When i say real, we start to be more responsible of our own lives. Though its not a bad thing but things can get really serious. You pay your own bills, you provide for your own family or for people who depend on you. You work to earn a living, etc. One thing you will miss is the carefree days you spend with your friends or just simply to study to earn good grades. Its not as hard as young people might think. Working on the other is harder than studying. Failures can ruin lives or mistakes can cost you a job. In school we learn from our mistakes and we can move on. In the adult world there is little room to make mistakes.

When i go to Cebu on vacation, me and my friends talk about the good old times when we were just enjoying life in the most carefree form.
One thing though my life taught me is we make our own paths. We carve our own futures. Though things are completely different with how my life was back then, it doesnt mean I cant be happy with where I am now. Though sometimes I like to take a small trip down memory lane. It doesnt hurt to smile and reminisce.

This look is inspired by my high school days and my life now as a designer.

I miss the life of studying too but I don't miss being a poor student with no money! So in the end, I much prefer working to studying.
