We had the morning to wonder so I road the cog rail up to Pikes Peak (in Colorado Springs). Trying to pack light I only brought along these boots and a pair of sandals. Pikes Peak is 14,000 something in elevation so the top was a bit breezy at 40 degrees. Thus my leather jacket, sweater, and jeans on a sunny July day.
