While nursing a migraine yesterday I was checking my favorite blogs and found this fantastic club song called Kiss kiss by B. Scott. This artist is a media sensation in youtube. I love how he looks amazing in transforming himself as a performer/artist in his vlogs. His new video was released just recently and Im glad to have viewed it. Its not your typical pop music video mind you because he is not your typical male artist. He loves makeup and looks gorgeous in it and could pass as a woman. In his video he transformed himself as a sexually ambiguous character blurring masculine feminine by his makeup, outfit and wigs. If that wasnt enough, a jawdropping scene showed him kissing another guy in the video which I must say was quite a powerful statement. That takes balls. I wish I could be courageous in everything i do. IT doesnt have to be a grand gesture like B.Scott in his amazing vid but courageous to face any challenges/problems that I face in my everyday life.
That represenation took the form of my favorite animal of the moment: the leopard. Much like B.Scott's work I like blurring my looks from any masculine/feminine context creating a synthesis of both. the pastel colors on the leopard tee and the masculine styling of the boots and the beard is not your typical look but I cherish these styling moments where I get to create something dynamic. I took it further by wearing leopard rings to reiterate the theme and also leopard print sunnies. the title is Leopold because i wanted a bold statment and it is another name for the leopard:)
This look is for my friend DANNI DANGER, for having the courage to be who you are:)
