Thanks! Unfortunately Lookbook messed up the quality of this photo big time, but I hope it still looks good:)
Yup, it tends to minimize the pixels of the shot making the quality a bit less than what we would have want it to be, nevertheless, your pic still looks great! : )
Oh then I wonder how the people in the Hot page make their photos look beautiful. Yours also look flawless! Maybe it's because I took this photo from too far away and it didn't focus on my face as much. It could be my camera too.
I'm using a telephoto zoom lens 50mm so that the person would look crisp and clear against the blurry background, Thanks man, its a trial and error thing, I'm still quite new to this, Hopefully soon we'll get better and better!
That's a lot of help, actually. I have one of those but I usually use my regular/standard lens instead. I'll use that one next time though:)

I love this one! Really wonderful! :-)
Thanks, Keita:D I like your name btw; it sounds cool:)
Thank you:) I was wondering whether to get them in blue but I thought these were cuter. I have too many dark-colored clothes too.
Thank you,kind sir:) lol
nice the look .and love the wall:D
Thank you:) Someone I know took a photo here with her dog and I found it perfect for a lookbook photo lol. It's in this alley not far from my house.
really a nice and cute wall, you are lucky to live near the wall:D
It's in the next neighborhood to mine close to my friends' house and mom's work lol.
so it's just a little near your house? you are so kind and interesting that replying so many words, i decide to fan you lol
Yeah. It's my house, then the next neighborhood, and the wall where the neighborhood ends. There's this alley and this is there. Then my mom's job is like 5 businesses away:p Oh and thank you<3
haha you described so clearly ,i almost have the map in my brain, and your welcome :D
What an awesome shot, this made me smile. And your features here are kind of interesting, almost ah asian?
Thanks:) I am actually Mexican, so I have a mixture of Aztec (hence the Asian thing) and Spanish blood in me. I think there's a little bit of French in there too. People think my sister's Pinoy when they see her lol:) I might as well be Asian though, because I love Asian stuff:p
Nice outfit and awesome wall in the background! :D
Thanks:) I kept adjusting my tripod so much that some neighbor across the street asked me what I was doing. I told him I was taking photos and he asked me if I had done the graffiti lol. He also asked me what it meant...
Haha! That reminds me of when I was out in my backyard trying to shoot lightning and I was so worried that my neighbors were gonna think I was spying on them or something... I wonder what it meant too!
I agree with Selle! Are you part asian??? :D
Today I had a photoshoot for the first time in my life, and it was at this pretty public place. So many people were staring but it's because I live in a horrible place XD.
I'm Mexican, but my Asian-looking comes from my grandma whose (grand?)parents were Natives/Aztec Indigenous people. I read that the Mayans (who lived more Veracruz, my grandparents' state) might have come from China though:o
Were you the photographer or the model? I've done photoshoots in public too, it's always so awkward because people just stares!
YOU'RE MEXICAN?!?! Dang, I was sure you were part asian! But that's awesome that you're part indigenous! I'm 100% Chinese :D
I was the model. It felt so nice :') lol. Yes, this guy decided to be rude on purpose and told me he was parking right in front of me as the photographer took the photo. I told him we were taking photos and for him to get off. There's 5 HUGE parking lots and he wanted to park right in front of me just because? Yeah right.
what a jerk! I hope the photos turned out well! It's worth the weird looks and mean treatments if the photos turn out!
WHOA! YOU KNOW CHINESE?!?!
Are you sure you're not part asian? ;)
I hope so too:D The photographer is now my friend:)
I took Chinese 1 last semester. My professor was really nice but we only covered like 4 lessons...I want to learn more. I also took 6 months of Japanese once a week (in Mexico) but my teacher was irresponsible so I stopped going:/ I want to keep studying both in college! I'd really love to be fluent in both of them. I have watched more anime and am more into Asian stuff than my Asian friends -__-;
Well, can't wait for the photos to come out! Are they going to be used on your lookbook?
OMG! I took japanese too! I took 4 semesters of Japanese in school! Except I wouldn't really count the first 3 semesters because my teacher didn't really teach us anything....On the 4th semester, we got a new teacher, who was actually a Japanese person! (our first teacher was a crazy white lady, but she was so funny!)
LOL! I have friends like that! Like, they're more asian than I am! xD
I hope so; probably:)
I know French too and the same thing happened with me, but backwards lol. There were 3 French teachers at my high school- A white old lady, a French one, and a Mexican one. The French one was new the year I started, and I got her. She was my favorite teacher in high school:) I took her for French 1 and 2. Then for French 3 and 4 I got the crazy white lady. She was kinda weird...she was old so of course she demanded for her to be the advanced level instructor (just because she had more experience even though she sucked at teaching and had a horrible American accent lol). I'm so excited to learn Japanese in college:3 I'm moving to Massachusetts so my new school will have that as a class:)
haha, our American Japanese teacher didn't even teach us some of the stuff correctly! And she doesn't know so much! And because of the lack of Japanese student, we only have one Japanese teacher, so we're stuck with whoever. By the time we got our Japanese Japanese teacher, we already missed so much that it was hard to catch up! Are you going to major in languages? This probably sounds so stupid...but you're fluent in Spanish, right?
The French teacher was actually pretty good at knowing her stuff, but she didn't teach well:/ My Japanese teacher was the owner of the language school so he only knew the language; he wasn't actually certified. He was pretty good at it but would be lazy and make us watch videos on youtube -__-.
I'm majoring in Psychology:) I want to learn so many languages though lol. I want to at least learn Russian, Latin, Portuguese, and German after the ones I told you lol. Yes, Spanish is my native/mother tongue:) I live in the U.S.-Mexico border, so people here (in the U.S.) either speak Spanish because they were raised in Mexico (like me, although I was born in the U.S.), speak Tex-Mex/Spanglish (which sounds HORRIBLE and has made-up words), or don't speak it at all.
You're majoring in Psychology?! That's awesome! I thought about that once...like, criminal psychology or something, but idk... = ="
I'm going into Spanish 4 next year! I think I will at least minor in Spanish. I actually like Spanish more than Japanese and it's probably more useful in the US anyways...
lol, Tex-Mex/Spanglish? That sounds confusing!
Oh wow, that's really cool that you know Spanish:) So if I type in it here you'll understand it?:o And yeah, I wanna do Psychology but idk if Clinical or maybe Criminal Psychology (FBI shows and all that stuff makes me want to do that lol). Yeah, Spanish is very useful here, especially in Texas and California.
Hmm, it's really weird. The more ignorant people will use words that only people working in fields would use, but that's because a lot of people of Mexican ascent came from that. They'll say "ancina" instead of "así"(and only indigenous poor people/field workers use that; it's common knowledge that ancina is not a real word) or they'll call trucks "trocas," parking lots "parkeadero," etc even though there are proper Spanish words for those. Tex-Mex and Spanglish are different though. It's very weird and awkward-sounding:/
Haha, I guess if it's basic Spanish sentences, I should be able to understand! I know right? All those FBI/Criminal shows got me wanting to go into criminal psychology!
So these people just make up words? That IS very weird! I think Spanish sounds so awesome! I don't think I could ever be fluent though...native speakers all speak so fast I could hardly keep up, if understanding anything at all!
Sometimes if I want somebody to not understand me, I'll speak extremely fast and they're just like "O__o..." lol. Spanish is fun though, I agree:) I was used to speaking so much English at school, yet when I became friends with a girl from Mexico, we'd speak in Spanish and it was very fun:) Oh and yes, it's like they have their own word alterations and idk what. It's weird. There's a wiki entry on it too.
