I am awed at how the pieces of this look appear to have a strong unified asian statement particularly alluding to the imperial wardrobe of the chinese dynasties. An interesting thing though a lot of these pieces arent even Chinese in origin. The native handmade hat is actually Vietnamese. The ikat printed top which is more Filipino ethnic (a piece lve bought, deconstructed years ago, and left unworn till now), the pants which are japanese designed and the jewelry which is South African. I love this accidental synthesis of contexts simply by just restyling the original function of these garments. Originally I just chose these pieces because of their color harmony and detail. Later on I found out too that I was actually wearing two pieces echoing the same details of the slit(the ikat print shirt and the pants) which is kinda cute actually:)

I cherish these accidental twists not only in styling or wearing clothes but also in life. There are things that happen to you that sometimes doesnt make sense at all but when you add them up along with the rest of the things that do make sense, it all leads to a clearer, better picture of what your life is now. These little accidental twists give us purpose, strengthens our spirits and definitely makes life worth living.

whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.description is wonderful.the philosophy behind every piece of clothing is delightfully and intricately expounded im happy to have not skipped reading every bit of it. :)

this is multi-cultural diversity in one ensemble sir andre.and with the ethnic trend going on,im very happy you have chosen something filipino - with the ikat print and all, which is kinda interesting and refreshing.the pattern and mix of colors are just amaaaaaazing.plus i love the "bell-like" hat with the crumple effect it has on.very strange, yet fascinating.plus the necklace added some regal touch to this.and how can we forget those grey pants with slits, very avante garde.

we are ETHNIC.ethnic races of the world united. HYPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPED!!!
