im planning on bleaching my jacket like that before school, any tips?

Get a bleach for clothes in a liquid form - it is not that strong so the fabric won't be damaged. Wet the jacket, put it in the bucket, fold it randomly then poor some of the bleach over it, leave for 15 mins. Then fold it in a different way and leave for another 15 mins. Then rinse it with water, fold and add bleach again for 15 mins. Fold it in a different way, wait 15 mins, rinse and put it in the washing machine.
You can change the folding as many times as you like but you have to leave it for some time to take any effect.
Remember that after each rinse more color fades away and when the jacket is wet it looks darker.
