A look that is a throwback from the 80s. A nautical inspired look that showcases a way to wear a scarf during the summer time. I decided to have my hair shown in this look because I am friggin’ getting tired hats, here we go, let’s break it down.
Glasses - Urban Outfitters wayfarers that was purchased at Ann’s Closet Thrift Store. A personal favorite of mine of because of the two toned colors that consists of black and a clear like colour. Cost $2.00 Retail Price $15.00
Scarf - A vintage scarf from a local Goodwill store. For as long as I can remember, my mother would wear many scarves like these and just make it elegant looking. I’ve always wanted one of my own. Finally got one and decided to rock like the Europeans would. Cost $3.00 Retail Price $40.00 to $60.00
Shirt - A vintage Henley shirt that originates back from the Philippines. I don’t know where this shirt came from, I just found it on my closet one day and decided to wear it. In the Philippines, this is considered a staple shirt for many farmers and it comes in a variety of colours. Cost $FREE Retail Price $18.00 (based on American Apparel Henley Shirts)
Belt - A red belt purchased from Ann’s Closet Thrift Shop and it’s the best thing I’ve gotten in awhile! It made this whole outfit. Cost $2.00 Retail Price $12.00
Shorts - Free shorts from GAP when they gave me that $200 dollar gift card. They’ve definitely stepped up this summer releasing a lot of good bermuda and classic, casual shorts. These shorts were already above the knee but I decided to roll them up more to add more pizazz. Cost $Free Retail Price $40.00
Shoes - Light grey, sort of brownish earth tone oxford shoes from the flea market in NYC on 39th St and 9th ave. It was love at first sight, you can tell it has history from whoever last wore it. I love and it was quite a steal. Cost $25.00 Retail Price $160.00
Final Tally = $32.00
