I had a deep conversation with my sister DC few weeks back and I was brought to this realization that I need some changes in my life. From the mundane to the serious it was quite difficult to process but in the end I must see to it that changes must take place. Like for example, ridding myself of unnecessary clutter in my room. It was a challenge but eventually I did it and I bid adieu to 10 plus years of clutter.

About the look:
All this simplification of clutter brought me back to my art roots in college when I studied Art History. One movement I favored along with surrealism and dadaism is Suprematism.

Suprematism- was an art movement focused on fundamental geometric forms (in particular the square and circle) which formed in Russia in 1915-1916.
A very deduced type artform so tightly edited its simplification bears resemblance to minimalism.

So there I was inspired to focus on lines and shapes on this look and not so much on accessories. As a maximalist, I am challenged by conceiving a look that is devoid of accessories. I love neckpieces, rings, bracelets, eyewear, hats, belts and shoes so so much that I feel naked without it. But the end result was rewarding aesthetically because I enjoyed looking at the clean lines. It even echoes the clean lines of an artwork I studied before: Supremus no. 58 by Kasimir Malevich:) Maybe subconsciously I was drawing inspiration from it:)

I believe it is a rare bird that can make me think of George Orwell and Franz Kafka and Red China and Art Nouveau and the Fifth Element all in one look, not to mention be savagely beautiful to look at. The face/body art is something I always love to see and look forward to.

thank you for the quick art histo lesson as well. Futurism through Constructivism are significant influences in my aesthetics, but I wasn't fully aware of Suprema (slightly a prelude to Cons?). not surprised that it is Russian in origin.

did you know that the naming of 'Infinity' has Russo-French roots as well? those people!

your looks and work are stellar. Keep it up, it is very inspiring. dedicated.
