This summer has been too hot to do or anything that involves pants, sleeves, or lots of physical activity. Compound the heat with a raging humidity index, and you’ve got an equation for one lazy, sticky girl with few options for proper work wear. What do you wear when it’s too hot to wear almost ANYTHING, too sticky for fabric to touch your skin, and then on the converse side, when you spend 8-9 hours in a office pumped full of arctic wind air conditioning? The temperature in our building is the binary opposite of the weather outside. Sickly hot and clammy outside, dry and blizzard conditions inside. You have to be prepared to dress with a violently bi-polar wardrobe, as it were.
