What I think is the most bizarre (potentially very clever, yet misleading) marketing is when companies have pictures of garments in their ads but do not actually have the piece in the store. That was the case when I saw this skirt; I absolutely loved it, but it wasn't actually stocked in the store for two months after they had the ad plastered in the windows of the stores. I say it is clever because every time I walked by the store I had to go in, and though they didn't have the skirt yet, I would always end up buying something else. ..
