The #1 source for fashion inspiration from real people around the world.
Every month UK clothing brand ‘Matalan’ contact 4 bloggers to take part in a themed style challenge. Last month they got in touch with me to join in on the autumnal theme. We each had £50 to spend on an outfit that had to be head to toe from Matalan (of course) and I decided to go for in store vouchers, rather than online.
I had spotted a red midi skirt online that I wanted, but unfortunately I couldn’t find it in store. So I went for a pair of tan suede effect shorts, red velvet peeptoe heels and a cream satin kimono blouse. My inspiration was the many colours of a dying leaf. I am trying not to use smiley or winking faces now, but a winky face would have gone here.
I haven’t shopped at Matalan before and usually I would spend £50 on one item, but this challenge has taught me you don’t have to spend a fortune on an outfit and if funds are low, there are some great deals to be had out there.
The shorts and the blouse are great quality and just as trendy
