Celeste C. says…

Today was pretty productive. I actually got up during the AM hours. I work two part time jobs from home now, so it's really up to me to motivate myself and get shit done. I made some work related calls, did some online research, made breakfast, put this outfit on, and ventured into the awesome weather that was today. It was overcast, minus humidity, with an exhilarating chilly breeze that made me feel like I was atop a North Carolina mountain in October. I am so excited to see everyone in sweaters and blazers and to take up a hot chocolate and soup diet. I then went to my favorite neighborhood cafe, El Beit, sipped on a mocha, did some more online work/people watched and enjoyed the beautiful weather through the huge open windows. But anyway, about my outfit...The thing around my neck is this old pair of tights I knotted into a chain headband sort of thing for one of my sustainable projects last year. So today I decided to make it even more sustainable by recycling the recycled and wearing it as a necklace. The polka-dotted mustard thing is a large hair barrette I clipped to it for more volume, color, or whatever kind of effect I was going for at the time. Happy (almost) autumn everyone! :)
