I wore this to a signing for a book penned by Katsu Tanaka about starting his superb Bear Pond Espresso in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, two years ago.

The Autumnal Equinox is a national holiday in Japan, though it's aimed more at remembering ancestors than the change of seasons. Nevertheless, the train company issued their holiday pass today (unlimited train-riding for ¥2300), so I decided to take advantage of it.
