Its always a difficult thing to talk about loss. Though I dont know these people personally, their works, their ideas, inspire me. So to lose someone who has the ability to inspire me, there's a deep sadness.

Much has already been said about these two amazing people who excelled in their respective fields but I want to share my story as well.

Steve Jobs' genius lie in imbuing each product with an incredible amount of charisma. Its like his passions, vision are transformed in these amazing gadgets. And what makes it more beautiful these gadgets relate to your life in a very meaningful way. When Ipod came out years ago, it became a big part of my life. Aside from its beautiful aesthetic, it was my gadget of solace. Wherever I go, whatever I do, with my favorite songs playing in my ears, my life in every second has its own soundtrack. IT gave me a sense of peace. Never had I experienced such an object which resonates to my core. From there it was so easy to embrace his other products as well.
Thank you for your amazing vision Steve:)!!

Before when paparazzi used to stalk celebs during international fashion week, before we heard of TommyTon, there were already a handful of stylish people never been documented or hyped because they were people who work behind the scenes, behind the glaring spotlight. One of them was Francesco Cominelli. I used to remember seeing his earlier photos (care of WGSN) and I was inspired by his truly unique style. One of the first looks I saw him sport was this above the navel cropped deconstructed trench coat layered over a shirt. It looked so cool, directional yet effortless. He carried it with such ease which was truly inspiring. From there I saw him wear other unconventional menswear styles and rocked every signle one of them. He is good with color blocking too even before color block became a byword in fashion. His fresh ideas, his youthful take on menswear and his bold taste in style would truly be missed. I felt he couldve shown the world more of his genius.

About the look:
I didnt want to pay tribute to these amazing people in something all black. I wanted to mourn their loss but at the same time celebrate their amazing life hence the vivacious/bold sequined trousers and shoes. The blazer has these carnation prints symbolizing pure love and innocence. The greens symbolize a fresh start and afterlife.
