The #1 source for fashion inspiration from real people around the world.
Hey! Not used Lookbook in a while, so I'm going to start again :-) I've recently had my 16th birthday and I've just got into Year 11. Life seems to be going so fast!! But I'm just loving every minute of it at the moment. Life's sweet :-) My current style at the moment is very Blaine Anderson/Olly Murs/Will Young kind of inspired. I love Autumn, its my favourite season. I love big cable knit jumpers and woolly hats and coats and things. I love the colours too, dark reds, browns and oranges are my fave' recently. I'm quite 50's(ish) inspired lately. I shop at quite a few old men's shops, like Greenwoods, and I wear dicky bow's and braces all the time too. Not many people at my school dress like me (a complete dork ha), but yeah, I love the individual and quirky edge of it. I get looks off people when I go out, some good, some bad, but hey-ho, can't please 'em all :-) sooo... I went shopping yesterday and came home with some new black Desert boots from Matalan (£25) and the purply blue wrist tie (re:photo) from Matalan too (50p!!). So this is what I wore yesterday :-) v. Olly Murs-inspired. I think I love him. It's becoming an obsession. Oopsy!! I rolled the cuffs of my hunters jacket up because I really liked the tartan pattern on the inside and I think it gives a bit more detail and a bit more to look at. I think I have a thing for hats at the moment, I dont know why, I think it's an Autumn thing. I love my bracelets so much, they all mean a lot to me. Sounds sad, but the people that bought me them are amazing, so :'-) The higher anklet that's made from thread was made by myself. Me and my best friend made thread bracelets one day and I decided to put mine on my ankle. S'just another sign of how much her friendship means to me. I never take it off. The ribbon bow-tie was a pretty random idea to be honest. I've seen it quite a lot recently on Women's masculine-cut blouses and shirts, so I thought why not try it out on Men's clothing. I liked it and sure enough, about three weeks later, Topman and River Island stocked up on neck ties and ribbon neck-bows. I felt like such a trendsetter!! This is a pretty casual, urban look with a quirky edge to it, I like :-)
