The #1 source for fashion inspiration from real people around the world.
Pardon my overly used bone necklace. Well it was one way to tie the story of this look. In one end there is the opulence of the brocade, regal, formal, elegant, classic. On the other there are the bones, the bone print tshirt, skulls metal hardware all these elements that are rugged, punk inpired, street, edgy. Love how they seamlessly blend and juxtapose each other. The colors was one way to tie them in. There is bone ivory white and there is this not so sky blue with a tinge of teal hue to each piece from the blazer, t shirt, check pants and the shoes. From matte to patent to metallic to sparkling:)
Speaking of juxtpositions, It is one reason why Im not really comfortable in the idea of formal events. I love seeing men and women in formal suits and dresses respectively but personally I hate dressing head to toe formal. Thats just me:) But in the end a punky, subversive aesthetic takes over. I like twisting contexts and concepts and making them not quite your typical formal:)
