I adjusted this dress, it originally has massive 80's sleeves and was midi length. Like this I can wear it layered over shirts and blouses, which I like to do. It was warm enough to be outside without tights! Which is amazing, although after the sun set, I was rather chilly.

Did you adjust the dress yourself or get it done at a tailors? I'm in envy of anyone who can operate a sewing machine. :( I have one, but it's old and I don't have the patience to read all the instructions in German....

I did it myself, I can sew so it's not much hassle for me to give it a quick whiz. I never read my sewing machine's instruction manual in detail, I learned mostly from videos on the internet, websites like Threadbanger have plenty of tutorials, some of which involve a sewing machine, plus the projects are quite cool.
