I made this dress with artificial flowers from a pound shop, i got a bunch of flowers and cut the petals off and hand sewn each and every individual petal to the dress. TOOK ME ABOUT 2 WEEKS TO COMPLETE IT.

I used a chiffon yellow tutu from topshop to enhance the bottom, to make it all poofy and bigger so it stands out.

The concept behind this was for my art project/ a mixture between consumerism and the adam and eve story of how beautiful the body is when its clothed with natural materials i.e flowers!!

and the eerie make up (day of the dead) help us to remember how our ancestors appreciated life and nature more than we do, now everyone cares about money, they don't make dresses anymore or bake.

Basically I want to make people realise what we've lost, its kind of a mourning outfit i guess! :P

BTW I did my make up, hair and model and took the photo on a tripod i think i deserve a round of Applause FOR THAT!
