This is my Rapunzel from Disney's Tangled movie costume. I wore it to Disneyland Mickey's Halloween Party and I'll be wearing it for trick-or-treaters to my house on Halloween.

The entire outfit and wig are made by me from scratch.

I drafted the pattern for the bodice, corset and skirt based some some previous outfits I made. I drew out the floral print pattern for her skirt and bodice and had them customprinted at spoonflower since I wanted it to exactly match the pattern of her outfit in the movie. I really tried to get all the seams in the outfit in the same place as well, since they actually showed them in the movie. The bodice/corset is fully boned and lined in coutil. It's a functional corset that laces up the front. There is tiny pink piping and hand-dyed lace around the edges. The embroidery on the skirt and sleeves was drawn out by me and then I machine embroidered it.

For the wig, I took a base long wig and added a LOT of extensions to it and flowers (it was really hard!)

The entire costume was a labor of love because I enjoyed the movie a lot and thought Rapunzel's costume was lovely. You can read more details about how I constructed it and see more photos of it here:
