Given my admiration for vampires, as evident from a previous look on the Ferocity, it was an obvious costume choice.
I believe vampires rise from bits and pieces of life, and thus the costume demanded picking up residuals of living life, finding symbols, textures, and colors to aid and in the creation of a resurrected creature. So here goes a piecewise construction.
The cape is made of an old sleeping bag, with a draw string sewn on for effect. The clasp is actually a serpent shaped bottle opener with two jade stones inserted into it. The shirt has paler squiggly burn marks that are the result of a bleach and burn accident, that eventually successfully made for a constructively messy look. Completing the look are a slew of handpicked accessories, from metal eagle cufflinks, a hissing serpent ring, a slimy skull-like belt, reflective metal pants, and self styled hair (slick back for out of the way during predatory times) and makeup (complete with succulent red lips and an eyebrow twitch).
And so comes an addition to the ferocity collection, and so apt for a perfect Halloween.
