The #1 source for fashion inspiration from real people around the world.
Iv had a few people asking what I wear when im "Dressing up", since i dress so ornately on a day to day basis. Welllllllp Yeah, Im a big fat DORK. So when Im going to the 9s super fancy its probly for one of my Live Action Medieval (low)Fantasy group's events. This dress is 100% all made by hand of my own design. My best friend Chris and I get together before events and make random stuff from what ever fabric we have around my (forever a mess) house.
Andd a bit of geeky tidbits for those who maybe interested:
Name: Acelynne Faolin
Station: Bahnri (Queen)
Race: Seandoaine - Kal-Sidhe
Age: 80 years old
Common Known/Gossip: Daughter of an Emissary Prince, Acelynne was exposed to a collection of cultures which reflect in her eccentric manner of dress. However, it was her station within the Kal-Sidhe that fed the rumor that the Conri and Bahnri's marriage is one purely of political arrangements between the rivals. It is also rumored that the Bahnri fancies power more so than even her consort,Cromac.
( there are 2-3 types of Seandoaine/Elves in the world )
The Kal-Sidhe reside in the Western and Southern Plains and Coastline of Gaellia. Descended from Kalidoth, the elves of the coasts are expert seafarers. Their life revolves around the ocean and it's waterways, leading them to become great explorers and diplomats. Drawing many exports from the sea they have envoys within almost every port city in Rynnyndar that touches the Open Seas and it's major inland waterways. From their Seaside Bastions, the Kal-Sidhe gaze out upon that which is their divine inheritance, the very Ocean itself.
Being the Heirs to the Seas, the Kal-Sidhe prefer to see themselves as the noblest of the Seandoaine. Being the first of elvenkind to breach peaceful treaty with another race, they tend to view the Leanbh Caillte as brutes and barbarians and the Aes Drocha as far worse. They wear flowing robes and skirts to emulate the seas they ply and most are found carrying some form of knotted cord from their ocean vessel of they were born upon
