The perfect shoe is one that completes every outfit. It gives it an extra punch without steeling all the glory for itself. When someone glances down at the perfect shoe, you know they're thinking "now thats a cool shoe." Its original and has a personality of its own. The perfect shoe is one that fits your foot so well, you forget it is on. Whether hedges, flats, boots, or sandals the perfect shoes is the one you go to when all else fails. My little red flats do all of that and more. When I'm having a down day I merely have to glance down to smile again. They can be dresses or casual depending of what the day requires. I feel confident in them and feel as if I'm living in the world of Amelie Poulain. They are the fairy tale of shoes, a treasure for my feet.
I'd have to be joking to say I wouldn't kill to design a pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes. I don't think anyone could turn that down. I deserve to design a pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes because I like to look beyond the obvious. To see the shapes within a shoes, the curves and straight edges. TO take the time to wonder what the designer was inspired by. To hear the story the shoes is trying to tell. For every shoes has a story, its only a matter of if you can hear it or not.
