Sundays I usually spend perusing the wares at various flea markets. I just purchased this vintage dress over the Thanksgiving holidays and just loved the design (the back has two bows on the hem, j'adore!) The vintage hat is my favorite piece and newest addition to my hat collection. It's a cute little 1930s straw tilt topper with raw silk striped ribbon and painted black feathers! The little lace cape has scalloped edges and dates to the 1920s-1930s and has a pretty robin's egg blue silk tie. The belt and socks are the only non vintage items I'm wearing. The belt is from Zara and despite being an XS/S it nearly goes around my waist twice! I decided to fashion a little "knot" design to make up for all the extra length.
Oh, and as far as Juniper goes, I had wandered into a Native American shop and there were tons of different sages and they had a sale on juniper bunches and I asked the guy if it was safe to smoke the apartment with it and he replied with "I dunno, it probably won't be good if you smoke it"
"No, no, smoke my apartment."
"Oh, no... it's just for getting rid of bad spirits, not for smoking. I don't recommend smoking it."
LOL. I don't think he understood what I was asking at all! I just thought it would make my apartment smell Christmas-y if I burned juniper instead of sage since I am still without a Christmas tree.
