Christa U. says…
First LB post for the year.
I went out to dinner with 2 of my friends, one who was in from the US for his winter break (and who I had met and become friends with when I was in Beijing) and another who was my roommate for a year when I was in Beijing. Though we had a few friends missing as they're still in Beijing, it felt kind of nostalgic meeting up together. It made us miss the good old days.
It's funny how we look at ourselves and realize how fast time is passing us by. We're all heading in our own directions and finding ourselves. With most of my friends already working, and me going back to China next month, it seems that what someone told me before was true. Up until university, each year that passes by seems so concrete. But when we graduate, all those years become blurred and pass us and before we know it, years have gone by.
Time flies by so quickly, but I still look (hopefully) and feel like a teenager.
