When it comes to casualwear, most men simply alternate between a pair of khakis and a pair of blue jeans. Now for the man who seeks a wider range of pant options, colored pants are the best way to inject color into your wardrobe.
It’s pretty easy to wear color in the summer, but to do it in the fall takes a bit more thinking. A good way to start is with a foundation of your basic browns and grays. Then you can add one or two items from a non-traditional (but still autumnal) color, like forest green, burgundy, or eggplant.
Burgundy corduroys (like the Levi’s ones I’m wearing) and a denim shirt, is a match made in heaven. You can also opt for a gray vintage T-shirt and a denim jacket instead. I finished my look with rusty-looking jewelry and a pair of statement oxfords, but you can also opt for brown suede brogue shoes if leopard isn’t your thing.
