I’ve done it again. Been a while since my last style post. And here it is, channeling my nice, softer side. Not that I’m not nice or have a soft side but generally cross over to the dark side with lots of black and stronger shapes. The long pink blazer was worn in the cover story recently featured in The Weekly Review, thanks to my new favourite Australian label, Cameo from their new collection ‘The Golden Years’. I love its lightweight fabric and structured shoulders – not usually a colour you’d see me in but was really drawn to it, and you know I’d try anything. And the naughty side? The time it’s taken to update my blog with a style shoot. And, I’d been dying to put my nose ring back in, and as much as Jesse hates it, feel like it’s more me. For now.
So this past couple of weeks have been crazy, so nothing’s changed in that respect. But I love it. It was my birthday last week and kinda coming to terms with the whole aging business (girls, you know what I mean). But I must say, my mid twenties have and are the best years. We’ve accomplished a lot and met a lot of inspiring people, gained incredible friendships and partnerships and been to some amazing places. Thanks to everyone who has always supported us!
I have some super exciting news to release in the coming weeks – but in the mean time, L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival is just around the corner so be sure to grab some tickets (if there are any left). I’ll be hosting the QV Lunchtime Style Series and involved in a workshop, details to come.
