So I got married... yes, married on 10th Feb. The past two years of my life have been a roller-coaster ride, wherein my life was turned inside out, and outside in. But I found an anchor and friend in my life partner, and getting married was just the most logical step.

I wore this beautiful saree for our wedding reception on 12th Feb. The saree, designed and gifted by my best friend, Ritika Mittal, is created with Maheshwari silk, with a Kanjeevaram border. It's a one of kind saree, as all Ritika's designs are. She styled me for the dinner, with beautiful earrings, and I wore one of her necklaces as head accessory. We mixed an assortment of gold and pearl studded bangles, and I wore a beautiful gold and emerald ring.

I chose not to wear any makeup apart from the eye makeup, and yes, a wide smile. I was relieved that I did not look like an eye-sore, and in fact, friends and relatives loved my look, and called me an unusual bride.

I cannot thank Ritika enough for the saree, as I think that it made my day so special. She is among the most talented designers I know. The reason I haven't posted a look in a long time is because I have been busy with my new role. I have shifted to my husband's home, and it's fun and challenging at the same time. Work too has been keeping us both very busy, and I have my plate quite full right now.
