I usually steer away from drop waist dresses, but I couldn't resist this beauty from eloquii. The hammered satin drop waist dress features dolman sleeves and a relaxed fit; two more features I normally avoid. The first few minutes of wearing this dress were uncomfortable since I always gravitate towards fitted empire waist dresses with or without sleeves.
Is it supposed to be that loose? What do I do with this sash? Do I look OK?
Soon after I finished questioning myself, I just let the dress be.
It's a relaxed fit. Tie the sash into a small bow. I look fabulous!
This dress was a big leap out of my typical dress choice, but I'm happy I took the unusual route. Not only did I step out of my box, I looked good doing so.
When was the last time you took a style risk, big or small?
