photographer: Candace Perry
Location: Graveyard, Savannah, Ga
This was real pleasure to shoot. I went back to Savannah, Ga where i attended SCAD to visit some friends and work with photographers there. The shoot actually started out as a disaster as i was only there for three days and had a small time slot scheduled to work with this photographer. Right as we finalized our wardrobe selection, the heavens broke loose and it began to pour. Candace(the photographer) and i decided that we wouldnt have the opportunity to work together soon so she purchased a waterproof camera case and we went for it. The location we selected was a supposedly 'haunted graveyard' called Colonial Cemetery on Oglethorpe. We froze our asses off, but i feel the result was well worth it. For styling, I selected the only two things that i felt would photograph well that i didnt mind getting wet. The location and weather were so dreary that i chose a highlighter colored silk vintage 1950's jacket and a 50's wedding veil with lace applique. Thanks to Shangri-la Vintage Boutique for providing the clothing and to Candace for being a trooper and sticking it out through the weather. You can check both out on fb if you care. Thanks for looking guys! Feel free to leave your comments below.
