Doing some sightseeing over our Thanksgiving holiday trip! This is the dress (flickr.com/photos/elegantmusings/4008773525/) I made from the Sense and Sensibility 1940s swing dress pattern, and it proved to be one of my absolute favorite outfits of the trip!
Sorry I look so peeved in this photo; it was actually really cold that day, and I had taken my warm jacket off to do an outfit photo. I think this was after telling Sailor Husband to hurry up with the photo because I was freezing! rofl!
♥ cardigan: refashioned by me
♥ dress: made by me from a Sense and Sensibility pattern in a lightweight plaid
♥ shoes: crown vintage
♥ purse: vintage
♥ pin: vintage
♥ bracelet: gold necklace wrapped around my wrist
I was also trying out a new hairstyle that day! It consists of two victory rolls (one on either side of the face), and then two on top (going in opposite directions). The back was twisted up, and I added a couple flowers. :)
