I was invited by Harrods to a private Press breakfast launch party to view their Diamond Jubilee range, and to see some spectacular ballgowns dating back to the 1950s. I was luckily enough to be allocated permission to step into the world famous Harrods window displays and walk around to look at the ballgowns more closely. It was an incredible experience. Then they took us all in the famous green Harrods double decker bus to the V&A museum to see the "Ballgowns: British Glamour Since 1950" exhibition.
A Diamond Jubilee is a national celebration, held to mark 60 years of the Queen's reign.
