Semi-Couture has been founded by Erika Cavallini, an Emilian young designer, that at the end of 2008 took the decision to stop being the consultant for several Italian brands and decided to achieve her personal way to express fashion. In a few months, she founded K8 Ltd with her husband to produce the new collection Semi-Couture. The brand comes from an old stamp recovered on a bench of second-hand market in Provence and the idea of name Semi-Couture is to identify clothes that, on one side can give the idea of “unfinished” like the intermediate check on the tailor’s dummy of “semi-couture” and on the other side remind the haute couture without their own stylistic elements of the latest years and especially their exorbitant costs. However, the details, the quality of the fabrics, manufacturing are the ones of Haute Couture. A Made in Italy manufacture done by some laboratories that are still working in our territory perpetuating a tradition well known all over the world. First in the Semi-Couture collection is to design clothes with a style that permit to fully express the personality and elegance of the wearers. All the Semi-couture clothes, from the initial idea to the concept, are 100% Made in Italy as well as all the materials are selected and manufactured following the most classic tailoring process. So, each creation becomes unique and rich of all the values that for quality of manufacturing, details an accessories make it absolutely exclusive, timeless and rich of its own fashion.
