I still find myself cringe when I hear a piece from the 90s being called vintage. I am aware that technically, a piece that is more than 20 years old fits the description, but I was around in the 90s! I didn’t just exist, I was living in the decade! Ela Hawke Vintage is one of the local vintage shops focusing in 70s, 80s, and 90s fashion; and I religiously follow its update to get myself pieces of recent vintage. This pinafore dress is the perfect example why EHV constantly wows me.
I’m not quite sure whether I will actually cut the skirt short or turn it into a jumpsuit. I thought I should give it a go and wore it as it is. Don’t you think it looks very 90s grunge with the boots as well? So do you think I should keep it this way or change it? HELP!
