The #1 source for fashion inspiration from real people around the world.
Well, I was inspired to assemble this look when this morning, upon completion of my breakfast (poached duck eggs with prosciutto and fresh thyme), I noticed a bowl of fresh cranberries, infusing the mornings'air with the aroma of vitality. Strangely aroused by this scent, I felt compelled to "infuse" today's outfit with a subtle hint of cranberry.
The glasses were a pair belonging to my flatmate/lover. She embellished the frames with a DIY glitter glaze treatment. Gold glitter glasses... gaudy but overall glamorous!
The shirt is my father's from the 70's. It looks like maybe Jimi Hendrix or Eric Foreman would have worn it!
I just cut my hair, also. The sweltering heat proved just too darn powerful for the insulation provided by my follicles. So now I have a mohawk! How do you all like it?
The suspenders are from a Hot Topic store at the mall. I'm not usually one to shop at these stores, but something about these suspenders had my name written all over them!
Last detail: the shoes I wear here are a pair I am quite fond of! They were a great pickup from a vintage shop in Detroit! The brand is Sibley. I love the detail in these shoes, very fine craftsmanship indeed.
How you guys approve of this look??? I love to hear back comments from you all ;)
