I miss my bed, my laptop, my house. Ive been away from home for three nights already. As much as i want to go home I cant. The floods everywhere keep me from going home. Almost every road is impassable. Im at a safe place so there is no reason to complain but I miss my home comforts. For now Ill just have to live with it and hope for best that the rain will stop tomorrow.
That said my means of connecting to the net have been desperately possible thanks to a friend's computer. My laptop is simply battery dead with my charger left at home.
Even acquiring this image came from a friend's file. It is disappointingly blurry. I admit to it. However i like it. It just reminds me how we are interconnected to the system. If you are cut from it, you become paralyzed. With me relying on my own laptop, my stored photos, once thats taken away, you are left with no other choice but to settle for scraps. Much like the blurry photo thats how I see Manila right now. ITs like one blurry reality. The rain obscures everything.
I need clarity. I need the sun.
