By now the moving process has been drawn out to an uncomfortable degree around here. Not only have my bags been packed and stacked near the door but they now have a not insignificant layer of dust covering their upward facing surfaces and the temptation to break them open to access some of my more preferred clothing items is nearly undeniable. Thankfully, the awkward interim is nearly over-it's currently T minus six hours until the move. The ever more manageable amount of time until my actual departure was not enough to keep me from a pathetically desperate Forever 21 trip yesterday after realizing how truly tired I was of every item of clothing yet unpacked during which this hazy confusion of a slip/shirt was purchased. I'm not usually a pink top person, but the subtle peach color and asymmetrical hemline of this shirt were just so me that I really couldn't resist. Other purchases included neutral colored button downs and a pair of faux leather pants, of course. I'm not even going to try to make an argument against the predicability of my shopping decisions. Are you guys as excited as I was about my discovery of a rose that matched my shirt? It's okay if your not-that just goes to show that you have a life while my erratic jubilance officially certifies my lack of one.
