If you want to have pastel hair, you need to bleach the shit out of your hair. It must be the fairest color possible. then you need to use a freaking lot of silver shampoo, so your hair becomes less yellowish. Best base for pastel hair would be white.
Then you need to get a hair dye from "directions" which you are going to lighten up (for example blue) and you need to get a bottle of cheap conditioner. You put all the conditioner and a spoon full of the "directions" hair dye into a bowl and mix it up untill it's an even creamy substance. This should now dye your hair to a very fair blue. Leave the hair dye on for as long as possible. Probably over night as I always did.
By the way: Blue is a color which washes out the easiest. So you have to dye your pastel hair like every 5 days.
